Barbuild Bridges
Preventative health through fitness.
Community Driven Wellness
We are a community focused wellness initiative working to make strength, movement, and better health accessible to everyone. We partner with local shelters and community organizations to offer free fitness sessions for people experiencing homelessness.
Through welcoming strength training sessions and supportive group settings, we create spaces where participants can build strength, connect with others, and regain confidence in their abilities. Our program is led by volunteers who believe movement, encouragement, and community can improve overall well being.
We are launching in Davis, California, and plan to expand to additional shelters and communities over time.
Preventative Health Through Fitness
Our mission is to promote health, dignity, and hope by providing accessible fitness and wellness opportunities for people experiencing homelessness or economic hardship.
We believe movement and strength are powerful tools for preventative health. Regular physical activity can reduce chronic disease risk, improve mental health, strengthen the body, and support overall well being. Through supportive, trauma informed sessions, we help participants take small but meaningful steps toward healthier lives.
Our program focuses on simple, sustainable strength training and light cardio designed to welcome people of all fitness levels. More than exercise, we aim to build a community where participants feel encouraged, supported, and empowered to invest in their health.
Reduce Disease Risk

Mental Well being

Dignity & Empowerment
We create welcoming, trauma informed spaces where every participant feels encouraged and capable.
